We feel we're onto something when we appreciate the all-too subtle flavors that generally remind of water.
Here's what the French really know about Rosé: They don't think that it's an awfully complex beverage either. During a recent sommelier trip to Bandol in Provence the winemakers were laughing that we took the wines that seriously. "They all taste the same around here, and America now buys them", one said.
